(This is one of the things I love about working in education.) Here&#8217;s one that came up today. <strong>Our eating habits have changed enormously in the last 80 or so years.<\/strong> These are all words that did not appear in the 1913 dictionary:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>pizza<\/p>\n<p>hotdog<\/p>\n<p>hamburger<\/p>\n<p>sushi<\/p>\n<p>teriyaki<\/p>\n<p>bagel<\/p>\n<p>croissant<\/p>\n<p>meatball<\/p>\n<p>naan<\/p>\n<p>burrito<\/p>\n<p>taco<\/p>\n<p>quesadilla<\/p>\n<p>cheesecake<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ll leave out all the kinds of coffee&#8230;. :)<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodtv.com\" target=\"_blank\">FoodTV.com<\/a> for helping with ideas for this.
