Oh&#8230;learners. I&#8217;d almost forgotten about them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.51weeks.com\/events\/3\/presentations\/33\" target=\"_blank\">With<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.51weeks.com\/events\/3\/presentations\/40\" target=\"_blank\">a<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.51weeks.com\/events\/3\/presentations\/28\" target=\"_blank\">few<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.51weeks.com\/events\/3\/presentations\/36\" target=\"_blank\">exceptions<\/a>, I have not heard a lot of discussion about learners (or learning) at this conference. There has  been a lot of talk about systems, repositories, consortia, alliances, standards, barriers, and theoretical frameworks.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not just this conference &#8212; this seems indicative of the OER &#8220;movement&#8221; as a whole.
