This year everything I submitted is related to Open Ed. (Yes, I am that passionate about this subject.)<\/p>\n<p>Here are my submissions (both hands-on):<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open-Licensed Content: The Missing Piece<\/strong>  &#8211; Break free from proprietary educational content! Learn how you can use and  customize open-licensed materials, and get inspired to contribute to the world  of OER.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Open Educational Resources: Share, Remix, Learn<\/strong>  &#8211; Master 21st century skills you and your students need to take advantage of free,  open-licensed content, including clip art, photos, music, lessons, textbooks,  and more.<\/p>\n<p>I think building awareness for OER is one of the most important tasks I can do. On a <a href=\"http:\/\/okfn.org\/wiki\/opentextbooks\" target=\"_blank\">chat with a group interested in opentextbooks<\/a> last week, we talked about the need for a <strong>marketing plan for OER<\/strong>. I&#8217;m going to crack at outlining one. I&#8217;d appreciate any suggestions as I work on this.
